Deb Rubenfeld, Debby RubenfeldDebby Rubenfeld, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

My practice offers psychotherapy with warmth.   Whether you come as an individual or as a couple or family member, this work can improve your mental clarity and help to move you out of reactive states.

I like to describe my style as active and caring.  Ongoing training in EMDR,  and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy combines well with my years of more traditional  experience as an emotionally focused, Psychodynamic Psychotherapist. Education and clinical experience prepare me well to address a wide variety of personal and relational problems.  The field of psychotherapy is expanding vastly.  Psychotherapists are less theoretically divided now, thanks to an abundance of more recent research on the brain and the biology of emotion.  Consistent with this research, psychotherapists can now borrow more freely from various methodologies to create effective techniques for helping our clients.  I like to stay current and up to date in my field. Please call or write with questions.
